- Bangladesh is a country in South Asia, situated in the delta of the Padma (Ganges) and Jamuna (Brahmaputra) rivers in the northeastern part of the Indian subcontinent.
- Location: Southern Asia, bordering the Bay of Bengal, between Burma and India.
