If you use a feature requiring payment of a fee, we transmit your credit card data to our bank/our payment application/s for processing. If we encounter a problem with payment, we may review the order information with you and our bank to resolve it. We do not otherwise disclose your credit card information. We do not share your email address or your personal information with third-party marketers except for payment collection services. We offer secure pages to collect sensitive information on our order form, such as credit card information. We also use administrative, physical and technical precautions to help protect the confidentiality, security and integrity of personal information stored on our system. We host the site at a commercial-grade data centre that employs extensive security practices. How Long Do We Retain User Data?
Currently, we plan to retain user data while an account is active and for at least three years after that. However, we may alter this practice according to legal and business requirements. For example, we may lengthen the retention period for some data if necessary to comply with law or voluntary codes of conduct. Similarly, unless otherwise prohibited, we may shorten the retention period for some types of data if necessary to free up storage space.
Management of User Information:
You can access and manage your account information, update your usage by accessing further paid services or products, or change details such as your email address and personal information.
Children:
Our Company will not contact children under 13 about special offers or for marketing purposes without their parent's permission.
Our Courses:
9.1 Permitted Usage: The Course purchased by any Student will and shall only be used by him/her, and One Course is limited to One User on One Device only. Any sharing, recording, downloading or reselling of the Video/Course/Study Material/s is strictly prohibited and is to be treated as a violation of the Terms of Usage and will be liable to be prosecuted under the laws applicable in India. We constantly monitor the usage of the course and the links generated for the course. Any non-permitted use will result in immediate revocation of access from the Course/s, i.e., the Student will be debarred from the Course/s and not be permitted to view or attend future lectures and/or access to the recorded lecture/s will be revoked as well. Any non-permitted usage or selling of video/s or Course is considered to be theft and a violation of the Intellectual Property of the Company as per the Law of India, and the violator will be prosecuted as per the Law. 9.2 Classroom Course Offerings: The Study IAS ("we," "our," or "us") offers classroom courses (online/hybrid mode) and test series programs ("Services") (independent and/or inclusive of courses) (online/hybrid mode) (hereinafter, “Test Series”) designed to assist candidates in their preparation for the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) Civil Services Examinations, including both Preliminary and Main stages. Our Services cover subjects that form part of the official UPSC Civil Services examination syllabus. 9.3 Enrollment and Participation: By enrolling in our courses or programs, students agree to adhere to the schedule, methodology, and guidelines set forth by The Study IAS. As part of their preparation, students are expected to actively participate in classroom sessions, complete assigned tasks, and attend scheduled test series. 9.4 Online Live Course:

After the purchase of the Online Live Course, Live Classes will be available for the duration of the completion of a course in one cycle. Thereafter, the recorded class of the same live class will be accessible to students for viewing up to 5 times for a period of 545 days (1.5 years) from the date of purchase. One Cycle means from the starting of one segment till the time the classes come back to the same segment; for instance, if Student A has purchased Live Course from Ancient Indian History Part 1 and Student B has purchased Live Course from Modern Indian History, then Live Classes of Student A will end after completion World History, i.e., completion of one Cycle Ancient Indian History Part 1 – Ancient Indian History Part 2 - Medieval Indian History – Modern Indian History – World History; and similarly, Live Classes for Student B will end after completion of Medieval Indian History. However, a Live Course with recorded classes will be available to both Student A and Student B for up to 545 days (1.5 years) from the date of purchase.

Online Study Materials in the form of .pdf files will be valid and visible for the same course as those purchased by the Student. However, a student can download the .pdf files or print them at their convenience. Suppose the same is not downloaded/printed. In that case, access to the Online Study Materials will be revoked after the expiry of the course and Our Institution will not be responsible for it, nor will any extension be granted for downloading the Study materials.

Weekly Tests will be conducted for all the students of the Online Live Batch along with Offline Students; questions will be provided to the students, which they can attempt and send to the institution for evaluation of the questions. Attempted answers are to be sent in .pdf format through the Application/Email/WhatsApp number provided to the students. Answers will only be evaluated during the active course period. No answer will be evaluated after the expiry of the Course.

Non-payment of fees or instalments will lead to discontinuation of the Course.
9.5 Online Recorded Course:

Online recorded courses can be purchased in two formats: either the whole course can be purchased in one go, or modules can be purchased separately. If a module is purchased separately, each student will be entitled to view each class up to 5 times within the duration of 180 days from the date of purchase of the module course. If the whole course is purchased, either in instalments or one-time payment, each student is entitled to view each class up to 5 times within the duration of 365 days from the date of purchase.

Online study materials in the form of .pdf files will be valid and visible for the same course as purchased by the Student. However, a student can download the PDF files or print them at their convenience. If the same is not downloaded/printed, access to the Online Study Materials will be revoked after the expiry of the course, and Our Institution will not be responsible for it. No extension will be granted for downloading the Study materials.

Live Doubt classes with Manikant Singh will be accessible for all students of Online Recorded Course simultaneously for the duration of their Course irrespective of the date of purchase of the course occasionally (subject to availability of Sir and other factors). Separate classes for Hindi medium and English Medium will be conducted, and students will only be eligible to attend the class in only one language of the course they have purchased. Notification about the timing will be given a day prior to the students through WhatsApp Chat/group. Timing for the Doubt Session is not fixed and is subject to change as per the availability of Manikant Sir.

If the whole course is purchased, each student is entitled to view each class up to 5 times within the duration of 365 days from the date of purchase.

Soft copies of study materials in the form of .pdf files will be available for the same course as those purchased by the student. However, a student can download the PDF files or print them at their convenience or can store them in Pen Drive itself. However, we recommend downloading the same to your local device so that it can stay with the students in case the Pen Drive gets wiped or corrupted. If the same is not downloaded/printed till the time a Student is eligible for the Course, i.e. within the validity period, a copy of the same will not be provided, and Our Institution will not be responsible for it, nor any extension will be granted for downloading the Study materials.

For Doubt clearance, the mobile number of our Class Coordinator will be provided to the students, who can call the batch coordinator between 11:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. during the validity of their course.

Every week, students will be provided with a few questions to attempt and send to the institution for evaluation. Attempted answers are to be sent in .pdf format through the Application/Email/WhatsApp number provided to the student. Answers will only be evaluated during the period of the active Course. No answer will be evaluated after the expiry of the Course.

If the Pen Drive is corrupted when received by the Students, Our Institution will provide them with a replacement. However, if after activation, there is any loss of the Pen Drive or the Pen Drive gets corrupted, Students can get a replacement; however, they will need to pay the charges for the Pen Drive, as informed by Our Institution.
9.7 Correspondence Course:
On purchase of Correspondence Course/Books/Materials, Students will receive a set of printed books for their study. The books will be sent through the courier after the payment has been received.
Confidentiality and Security:
We provide access to personal information about you to our employees, who we believe reasonably need to come into contact with that information to provide products or services to you or help them do their jobs. We have physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with the laws prevalent in India to protect personal information about you. We seek to ensure compliance with the requirements of the Information Technology Act 2000 and the Rules made there to ensure the protection and preservation of your privacy.
Your Consent to This Policy/Terms and Conditions:

We reserve the right to modify, update, or alter our course content and teaching methodologies as well as the Teacher/s or Teaching Faculty at any time to align with UPSC examination requirements or to enhance the learning experience. The Study IAS reserves the right to change the timetable or any set program in case of unavoidable circumstances. In case of an outbreak of COVID or any other pandemic or any government regulation, the same will be followed. Students are requested to cooperate with the management.
11.4 Disclaimer: While The Study IAS strives to provide high-quality preparation services, we do not guarantee any specific results in the UPSC examinations.
Success in the UPSC Civil Services examination depends on various factors, including individual effort and performance, which are beyond the control of The Study IAS.

Refund and Cancellation Policy :

Once paid, the fee will not be refunded or adjusted to another Course, and no cancellation requests will be entertained. In extraordinary situations where a student seeks a Refund and/or cancellation of their Course, the same is possible within 7 days (including Demo classes taken, either online or Offline) from the start of the class. However, the Refund of the amount paid is subject to the following deductions, which include: 1. GST amount paid or to be paid to the Government, 2. Any other Tax/Government deductions as made or applicable by the Government of India, 3. Any service availed or books/booklets taken by the student.

The student can be expelled from the institution without any compensation in case of undisciplined or unruly behaviour.
