RPF Launches Sangyaan App
Context:
Recently the Director General of Railway Protection Force (RPF) launched the mobile application-Sangyaan App, to provide in-depth information on three new Criminal Acts.

- The app is designed by the RPF Tech Team.
- It focuses on providing detailed information on three new Criminal Acts:
- Bharatiya Nyay Sanhita (BNS) 2023, Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS) 2023, and Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam (BSA) 2023.
- Aims to educate and empower RPF Personnel by explaining both new and old criminal laws.
- Emphasises the relevance of these laws in RPF operations.
- Features include user-friendly navigation, a searchable database, and offline access.
- Also released a ‘Handbook on Bhartiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), 2023.
