The Indian President concluded her three-nation visit to Fiji, New Zealand, and Timor-Leste on August 11, 2024, aimed at strengthening India’s relationships with these countries.
About Timor Leste:
- It also known as East Timor, is a Southeast Asian country located on the eastern half of the island of Timor.
- Only Asian Nation to be completely located in the Southern Hemisphere.
- Official Name: Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste
- Form of Government: Semi-presidential republic
- Capital: Dili
- Official Languages: Tetun, Portuguese
- Location: It shares the island of Timor with West Timor of Indonesia.
