A complete UPSC History Optional course for Paper I and Paper II, personally taught by Manikant Singh. The programme is designed around conceptual sequencing, changes and interlinkages, historiography, map integration, PYQ analysis, answer writing from Day One, study material and personalised mentorship for beginners as well as repeat aspirants.
I completed Sir’s 171–172 recorded lectures and revised his notes at least 20 times. That single-source discipline helped me handle every question seamlessly in both BPSC and UPSC. Aspirants often chase too many books, but Sir’s content is fully sufficient, backed by unmatched experience. I relied only on his notes and basic NCERTs.
My History was so weak that I couldn’t even recall basic hierarchies like Akbar–Jahangir. It affected my GS-1 attempts and created constant confusion. After joining Manikant Sir’s History classes, my concepts became solid and structured. That clarity is what helped me score 287 marks in History Optional.
